Police have warned parents to be aware amid reports of children and teenagers entering an abandoned Derby building
Police have sent a warning to parents amid reports of children playing in a "dangerous" abandoned building.
Derbyshire Police says young children and teenagers have been seen inside a derelict structure in the Littleover area of Derby.
The group has also been spotted climbing scaffolding, according to the Abbey Police safer neighbourhood team.
"We would like to remind you all about the dangers of properties like this," the team said in a social media post.
"Dangerous structures can become weaker, unstable and collapse. The buildings are boarded up, surrounded by fencing and clearly unfit for use," the post added.
"Please remind your children about the dangers of entering these kinds of properties, they are boarded up for a reason."
