Peak District: Man, 63, dies in motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in the Peak District.

Derbyshire Police said they were called to the single-vehicle crash on the A54 Cat and Fiddle at about 13:00 BST on Thursday.

Officers said the 63-year-old rider of a Suzuki motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene and his family had been made aware.

The force has appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward.
