Inkersall: Disused former social club fire to be investigated

A large fire has damaged a disused former social club in Derbyshire.
Firefighters were called to the single-storey building in Dade Avenue, Inkersall, near Chesterfield, at 21.35 BST on Saturday, said Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The service said no-one was in the building at the time.
Crews left the scene at 08.30 BST on Sunday and then returned throughout the morning to re-inspect and check for hot spots.
A joint investigation was due to start later, said the fire service.
Derbyshire Police said a road was closed after the fire started but re-opened on Sunday morning.
The forced added: "A scene remains in place today while the building is deemed safe and to allow for a joint investigation to take place."

Crews from across Derbyshire, supported by crews from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire Police and the ambulance service, attended the fire
