Buyers' offers assessed for Okehampton frozen food firm

The administrator appointed to sell a Devon food company has said it is assessing a number of offers for the frozen dessert business.
Polestar closed its Okehampton factory earlier this month, with the loss of 232 jobs.
Administrator FRP Advisory said more than 20 companies had expressed an interest in the business.
Polestar's owner, Privet Capital, blamed "cashflow problems" for its decision to close the factory.
Phil Armstrong from FRP Advisory said he hoped the factory would be able to re-employ some staff and resume production under a new owner.
The job-loss announcement on 1 February was the second major blow to the Devon town, coming days after Robert Wiseman Dairies announced it was closing its factory, putting 69 employees out of work.
