Torbay cliff fall rescue at Oddicombe Bay

A man is in a serious condition after falling 65ft (20m) from cliffs in Torbay.

The 40-year-old man was rescued from the water off Oddicombe Beach, in Torquay at about 19:20 BST, Brixham Coastguard said.

Torbay lifeboat and the inshore lifeboat assisted with the rescue.

The man was taken to Torbay Hospital before being transferred to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. The nature of his injuries is currently unknown.
