Flooding suspends Devon and Cornwall train services

In Tavistock, the River Tavy, which runs through the town, had swollen after more than 50mm (2in) of rain fell in 24-hours
Heavy rain caused major travel disruption in Devon and Cornwall on Monday with some London trains suspended.
Flooding near Exeter and Tiverton affected services by South West Trains, Cross Country and First Great Western.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said a few properties had been flooded in east Devon.
More than half an average month's rainfall fell across parts of the region in a 24-hour period.
A spokesman from the fire service said there were isolated incidents of properties being flooded in Exmouth, Axminster and Exeter.
Some areas recorded 58mm (2in) of rainfall in 24 hours.
The Met Office currently has a yellow weather warning in force, external, while the Environment Agency has issued a number of flood warnings and alerts, external on rivers.
