North Devon grasslands get £500,000 cash boost

Devon's wildlife havens will soon be benefiting from a £500,000 cash boost.
Devon Wildlife Trust won the money from the Biffa Award scheme to restore culm grasslands in the north east of the county.
Waste services firm Biffa awards the money from tax it collects at its landfill sites.
Culm grassland retains its moisture even through dry summers, making it attractive to wetland birds and butterflies.
