Plymouth car 'cruise' crash man in court

A man has appeared in court charged with 17 counts of assault over a crash at a car "cruising" event held in a DIY store's car park.

The 17 injured were among a crowd watching cars at a B&Q car park in Plymouth on 26 July 2014.

Christopher Budd, 19, of Trelawney Gardens, Liskeard, has also been charged with dangerous driving.

He was remanded on unconditional bail by Plymouth magistrates to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on 23 February.
