Brexit: Farmer fears 'inferior produce' could distort market

A Devon farmer says she fears there is "every chance" of being "sold down the river" if foods standards aren't maintained after Brexit.

Cathy Case from Bigbury-on-Sea said the possibility of cheaper, "inferior" products due to a prospective US trade deal could threaten her farm.

MPs struck down a Lords amendment to the Agriculture Bill to force trade deals to meet UK animal welfare and food safety rules earlier this week.
