Man dies in crash involving articulated lorry near Exeter

A man has died in a crash between a car and an articulated lorry.

Police were called to the A3052 Sidmouth Road at Clyst St Mary near Exeter just after midnight.

The man, in his 20s, who was driving a blue Audi car died at the scene, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The road was closed for several hours for investigation work but has since reopened. Officers are appealing for witnesses.
