Amy Austin's family have paid tribute to a woman "who loved making people happy"

The family of a woman killed in a crash on the M5 have said she will be greatly missed by them and hundreds of friends.

Amy Austin, 28, from Torquay, was taken to hospital after the two-car crash on the southbound carriageway near Exeter on Sunday.

She sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

Ms Austin's family said her "bubbly energy lit up every room" and she "loved making people happy".

"She was definitely the glue that held our family together after our mum passed away in 2014," they said.

Ms Austin was an "incredible baker" who "adored the outdoors", relatives said.

Devon and Cornwall Police has urged witness to the crash near junction 31, which involved a BMW 1 Series and a Vauxhall Corsa, to contact officers.
