Police appeal after cyclist seriously injured in Willand crash

A woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash between a cyclist and van

A cyclist remains in hospital with serious injuries after an incident involving a white van on Thursday, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said it happened on Uffculme Road in Willand near Cullompton at about 08:30 GMT.

Officers have issued an appeal for information or dashcam footage that could help their investigations.

The cyclist, a woman in her 60s, was airlifted to Derriford hospital in Pymouth.
