A critical incident at a hospital in Devon has ended, health bosses have confirmed.
Derriford Hospital in Plymouth declared its fifth critical incident of 2024 on Thursday.
On Friday, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust said: "We recognise the hard work of all our colleagues and thank them for their efforts through this period of escalation."
It added the critical incident ended at 09:30 BST.
The trust said: "We also want to thank the public who took steps to #HelpUsHelpYou by only attending the emergency department for serious or life-threatening conditions and using other services, such as NHS 111, for urgent care."
On Thursday, the trust said the announcement followed "increased operational pressures and IT issues".
