A Dorset nature reserve has been officially opened following a two-year restoration programme.
The work on Radipole Lake in Weymouth included a refurbished visitors' centre and new boardwalks and footpaths.
The Wild Weymouth Discovery Centre features live video feeds from nests in the reserve as well as maps and information boards.
The RSPB said it hoped to increase the numbers of school and community groups visiting the wetlands.
Work has also been carried out to improve wildlife habitats around the lake's reed beds, ditches and open water.
Peter Exley, of the RSPB, said after the opening: "Everyone was delighted with the day because, despite the weather, we got about 60 people at the centre."
The refurbished nature reserve will allow the public to get better views of warblers and wildfowl, the RSPB added.
