Weymouth flat death woman named as Leah Marie Whittle

A Weymouth woman whose death led to a 16-year-old boy being charged with murder has been named as Leah Whittle.

The inquest into the 42-year-old's death was opened and adjourned on Tuesday, Dorset Police said.

Ms Whittle was found at the property in Benville Road last Saturday afternoon.

The 16-year-old boy charged with murder appeared at Winchester Crown Court earlier and was remanded into local authority secure accommodation.
