Tout Quarry on Portland made into nature reserve

A limestone quarry in Dorset has been made into a nature reserve.
Dorset Wildlife Trust has acquired a lease to protect Tout Quarry on the Isle of Portland, creating the Portland Quarries Nature Park.
Brian Bleese, director of operations, said it would be an open access site for local people and visitors to enjoy.
The land is home to colonies of chalk hill and small blue butterflies, and a silver studded blue butterfly found only in Portland.
