Camp Bestival is under way in East Lulworth, on Dorset's Jurassic Coast.

The festival is held in the grounds of Lulworth Castle, a 17th Century hunting lodge built by Thomas Howard, 3rd Lord Bindon.

Many of the 30,000 revellers began arriving at the Lulworth estate on Thursday.

The festival is known as the "little sister" of the Bestival music festival, which is held on the Isle of Wight each September.

The event is targeted at families with young children. Headliners this year include Basement Jaxx, De La Soul and James.

Boutique camp sites are set up in advance of the festival for revellers wanting some extra comfort. Yurts, tipis, bell tents and squrts - mini yurts - are all available.

The event takes place from Thursday 31 July until Sunday 3 August.
