A 15-year-old pupil has been arrested on suspicion of dealing class A drugs after being found with a substance at a school in Dorset.

Poole High School called police after the boy brought in the substance, which has yet to be identified, on Monday.

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug. He was later released on bail.

The pupil has been suspended for five days pending an investigation.

Head teacher Fan Heafield said: "This is a matter in the community, not at the school.

"We are co-operating fully with the police in their ongoing inquiry.

"The school will always take immediate and the strongest action possible in relation to any incident involving drugs."
