Daisy Elbrow, 15, died from renal cancer on Sunday
The mother of a teenager who died from cancer has appealed to burglars to return the girl's stolen laptop.
The break-in happened while Natalie Elbrow, 47, was paying her respects to 15-year-old Daisy, at Poole Hospital on Thursday.
She returned to her home in Bournemouth to find burglars had taken the girl's MacBook, which contained Daisy's photographs and other memories.
Dorset Police urged the culprits to "do the right thing" and hand it back.
Det Sgt Adam Woolman said: "This burglary was committed while Natalie was saying goodbye to her late daughter.
"I am sure everyone will be incensed by this crime."
Daisy Elbrow died at the hospital on Sunday following a seven-month battle with renal cancer.
Funds for the laptop were raised through a hospital raffle.
Her mother said: "She spent more time in hospital than out and that laptop meant everything to her. It had all her things on it and all her photos... and I desperately want it back."
A white Xbox One, daisy Pandora earrings and cash were also stolen in the raid, which happened in Leybourne Avenue between 10:45 and 13:00 GMT.
