The area near Bournemouth's seafront has been illuminated in time for the festive season
Bournemouth's Christmas Tree Wonderland has opened to visitors.
The free displays in Lower Gardens feature illuminated trees and walk-through features, including a giant present.
Other attractions include a Santa Express miniature train and an ice rink.
There is also live music, festive food and drink, and a glowing stepping stones trail near the Pavilion.

Christmas Tree Wonderland, which will continue until January, is in its sixth year at Bournemouth but a number of new elements have been added for 2023

The centrepiece tree is covered with illuminated tree decorations and has laser lights shooting from the bottom

Hoteliers are supporting the event via the Bournemouth Coastal Business Improvement District (BID), which is the main sponsor

The Christmas market also opened on Thursday in the town centre.
