Driver dies in two-car crash in Bournemouth

The crash happened on New Road, Bournemouth, close to the Avebury Avenue junction
A driver died in a crash which closed a main road in Bournemouth.
Officers were called to the crash involving a Skoda Citigo and a BMW on New Road, near the junction with Avebury Avenue, just before 11:00 GMT on Saturday.
A man, aged in his 70s, who was driving the Skoda, died at the scene.
Dorset Police said his family had been told of his death and officers appealed for witnesses and urged drivers with dashcam footage to come forward.
