- Published
Five people have been taken to hospital amid a large emergency service response to a "disturbance" in Bournemouth.
Three air ambulances and five crews of paramedics were sent to Meyrick Road in the Lansdowne area of the town centre shortly before 15:00 GMT.
South Western Ambulance Service said five people had been taken to hospital - one was airlifted to Southampton General with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Three people have been arrested.
Two people were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, and a third person was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating.
In a statement Bournemouth and Poole College said the incident occurred outside the Roundhouse Hotel and college staff were assisting police in their investigations.
Police have started to remove cordons from the scene, but a force spokesperson previously said policing teams would continue to carry out reassurance patrols in the area.
