A Dorset rugby team has been causing a stir off the pitch with an impromptu live ukulele session on a Luxembourg bus.

The Sherborne RFC 1st rugby team have a tradition of giving musical performances after matches, while on tour.

Footage of them on a recent visit to the Grand Dutchy was shared on social media.

Player Jamie Davidson said the response from passers-by had been "awesome".

The team was on its annual tour, which included a match against the Luxembourg national side - and they won 31 - 26.

They later played in streets, bars and on a local bus.

"They loved it, they kept telling us to play - we would start playing and quickly gather a crowd," Mr Davidson said.

"We always like to do a bit of rehearsing to make sure it's at least half decent."

He said one Luxembourg businessman was so impressed he offered to fly them back to entertain a conference, adding: "We'll have to learn a few more songs."
