Motorcyclist killed in collision on Essex road

A motorcyclist travelling with a group of riders has died in a collision in Essex.
James Lawton, 52, from Ingatestone area, was with four other motorcyclists at about 0730 BST.
They were travelling along Main Road in Rettendon Common, near Chelmsford, when the bike collided with a silver Chevrolet Matiz being driven in the opposite direction.
The road was closed for six hours while the scene was examined.
