Road victim Cassie McCord's mother seeks change in law
The mother of an Essex teenager killed by an elderly driver has been lobbying for a change in the law.
Cassie McCord, 16, died after she was hit by a car which mounted the pavement in Colchester. The driver, who was in his 80s, had already been warned by police about his driving.
Her mother, Jackie McCord, wants police to be able to seize the licences of elderly drivers if they are concerned about their driving.
