Artwork celebrates Harlow's diversity after death of Polish man

Large-scale artwork has been created to celebrate a town's diversity in response to the death of a Polish man.

It is alleged Arkadiusz Jozwik, 39, died from a single punch to the head in Harlow, Essex, in August.

His death prompted organisations in the town to host Stand Up for Diversity events.

Polish artist Jola Kudela was commissioned to undertake the project and her works goes on display on Saturday as part of Harlow's 70th birthday celebrations.

The design, on the back of the Harlow Playhouse, is entitled "We're all in the same boat".

Mr Jozwik, who was known as Arek, died from head injuries after an incident on 27 August.

A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be identified, has denied a charge of manslaughter.

He has been released on conditional bail ahead of a trial in July.
