Essex Police appeals for information about Grays hit-and-run crash
- Published
Two women have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after they were hit by a car whose driver failed to stop.
The women were struck between Dock Road and Marshfoot Road in Grays, Essex, at about 20:15 GMT on Wednesday.
Police are looking for a black saloon car, believed to be a BMW, that drove off from the scene.
They are asking for anyone with information or with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
Det Sgt Steve Holmes said: "In particular, I would ask anyone in the area who has been asked to make repairs to a vehicle with visible front-end damage over the past 24 hours to consider this appeal, and whether the vehicle matches the description given by witnesses."
People with more information should quote incident number 1096 of 8 November.
