Car smashes into Grays house on Christmas Day

A car has struck a house in Essex, leaving the property badly damaged.
Police said officers were called to Argent Street, Grays, on Christmas Day morning.
In a post on X just after 11:00 GMT, external, the force said: "We are on scene of a collision in Argent Street, Grays in which a car has collided with a property."
Police said the road would be closed for several hours while the incident was dealt with.
No further details of what happened have been released.
