Chadwell St Mary: Man dies after bus and moped crash

A man has died after a New Year's Eve crash involving a bus and a moped.

Police were called to reports of a crash in Chadwell St Mary, in Thurrock, at the junction of Chadwell Hill and Brentwood Road just before 18:30 GMT.

A 27-year-old man died following the crash, which resulted in multiple road closures, the force said.

No arrests have been made and officers have asked for any witnesses or those with footage or information to contact officers.
