Colchester: Attempted murder charges after boy, 16, stabbed

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed.

Essex Police officers were called to the junction of Queen Street and Priory Street in Colchester at about 18:30 GMT on Tuesday.

The victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds but his condition was no longer life-threatening, officers said. 

Two men, aged 19 and 21, have been charged with attempting to murder him.

They were due to appear before magistrates.
