An obvious spelling mistake has been fixed on a large road sign.
The sign on the A131, on the outskirts of Chelmsford, originally spelt the Essex city as "Chelmsord" without an "f".
The error was first reported by the BBC on 3 January.
Essex County Council previously apologised for the "unfortunate mistake" and said the error was the responsibility of a developer that designed it.
A spokesperson had said it would ensure the developer installed a replacement "as soon as possible".

Essex Highways, a department of the county council, said the fixing of the error had been done with no extra cost to local taxpayers
