Essex man convicted of dangerous driving after fatal crash

A driver has been convicted after his he crashed into a pedestrian.
Seamus Reilly, 30, of Elizabeth Road, Brentwood, was found guilty of dangerous driving at Basildon Crown Court on Monday.
The crash happened in July 2021 in Ongar Road, Brentwood, and the 35-year-old victim, from Chelmsford, later died in hospital.
Reilly will appear for sentencing to appear at Basildon Crown Court on 18 March.
