Man found near e-scooter in Grays with serious head injuries

A man is in hospital in a life-threatening condition after being found on the ground near an e-scooter, police said.

Officers were called to Marshfoot Road, Grays, shortly before 11:30 GMT on Monday, where they found the injured man.

He was taken to hospital with a serious head wound.

Essex Police said it was carrying out inquiries into how the man sustained his injuries.

The force has appealed for anyone with information or footage to come forward.
