A man, 67, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A 67-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was left in a life-threatening condition.

The man in his 30s was injured during an incident outside The Bell Inn in Feering, Essex, on Friday.

Essex Police said it has been trying to "establish the circumstances around how he came to be injured".

The police said it believed the victim may have been involved in a crash with a vehicle in the car park.

The 67-year-old man from Kelvedon, Essex, has remained in custody.

The police has been urging anyone with more information or CCTV footage of the incident to come forward.
