Air Balloon roundabout air quality consultation starts

A public consultation on ways to reduce pollution at a busy roundabout near Birdlip is being held.

Cotswold District Council said tests show that levels of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) at the Air Balloon roundabout exceed the recommended thresholds.

The two month consultation, which will be used to help develop an action plan, will end on 30 September.

The authority is working with Gloucestershire County Council and the Highways Agency to develop the plans.
