'Believe in Gloucester' campaign launched

A campaign that aims to create more jobs and investment in Gloucester is being launched.
Believe in Gloucester is being showcased at the city's cathedral later.
Paul James, leader of Gloucester City Council, said some were guilty of not recognising what the city had.
He said the campaign was about "recognising that if the city is to achieve its full potential then we've all got a part to play".
The campaign, which is supported by people including former England and Gloucester rugby player Phil Vickery, is being launched by Marketing Gloucester Ltd.
Conservative Mr James said: "Some of our great buildings are hidden away, like Blackfriars Priory, the finest Dominican friary in the whole country.
"We often don't recognise some of the great performing businesses that we've got here, or indeed some of our educational establishments.
"I think the fact that there's so much going on in the city at a time when the economy nationally and internationally is in such a state of uncertainty is a very positive message that we should get out."
