Homes near Cheltenham racecourse: Decision delayed

A decision over whether to allow the construction of 380 homes near Cheltenham racecourse has been delayed.

Cheltenham Borough Council was due to decide whether to allow developers to build on Starvehall Farm site and Prestbury Playing Fields this week.

But the decision has been postponed until October so the developers can put in more information.

Landowner Gloucestershire County Council said the plans reflected local views, despite local opposition.
