Gloucestershire tractor overturns in crash near St Briavels

Two fire engines attended the crash near St Briavels

The driver of a tractor has been taken to hospital after it overturned in a narrow lane.

The crash happened near St Briavels in west Gloucestershire shortly before 20:30 BST on Wednesday, closing the B4228 while the vehicle was recovered.

Two fire engines from Coleford were called to the scene and the driver was taken to hospital by South Western Ambulance Service crews.

Gloucestershire Police said the road closure was lifted at 22:30 BST.

Officers were called to Barrowell Lane following reports of an overturned tractor between Pettymarsh Lane and Horsefield Lane.
