Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a suspected drug-related death.

Gloucestershire Police said they were arrested and later bailed in connection with one of five recent deaths.

Deputy Police Crime Commissioner, Nick Evans, said it is too early to say whether the deaths are linked to a dangerous batch of the drug.

The warning came after five people died, three of whom are known to regularly use the drug.

Siobhan Farmer, director of public health at Gloucestershire County Council, urges anyone suffering with drug addiction to contact the drug and alcohol recovery service "Change, Grow, Live, Gloucestershire".

The two people have been released on bail.
