Officers investigating an assault and an attempted robbery have issued CCTV images of suspect who was topless.

Police are investigating reports a man was assaulted while walking close to Kaspa's Deserts in Cheltenham around 17:30 BST on 13 September.

Members of the public reported that two men had approached the victim, hit him over the head, before pushing him to the floor and shouting abuse.

The victim was taken to Cheltenham General Hospital as a precaution.

An attempt was made to steal the victim's phone after he was kicked, before his attackers walked away towards New Street and Waitrose.

Gloucestershire Police said a suspect has been arrested and re-called to prison, but they are now asking for the public's help to identify the second man.
