Person taken to hospital as crash closes road in Corse

Police are still attending to the scene on the A147

A person has been taken to hospital and a road has shut after a serious collision involving two vehicles.

Gloucestershire Police were called to the A417 near the Cross Hands Garage, Corse, at about 18:00 GMT.

The ambulance service attended the scene and took someone to hospital.

Police added the road would remain closed for several hours while an investigation takes place.
