Cheltenham cat that loves to play fetch

When Aggie first dropped a ball at Keryn's feet, the young cat seemed to instinctively know what to do.

The cat from Cheltenham is one of many who enjoys playing fetch.

A first-of-its-kind survey of 1,000 cat owners suggests the vast majority of felines will do this without any training, concluding that owners should keep an open mind about the stimulation their cats might respond to.

But it also found cats generally prefer to be in control of the game. The research was first published in the science journal Nature.
