Tewkesbury: Man, 20, sentenced after Walton Cardiff stabbing

A 20-year-old who stabbed a man and terrorised his ex-girlfriend has been jailed for three-and-a-half years.
Elliot Fitts-Hawkins of Daffodil Drive, Tewkesbury, pleaded guilty to using controlling and coercive behaviour and causing grievous bodily harm.
Gloucester Crown Court heard he had been abusive to his ex-partner Paige Marsh.
The court also heard he stabbed Kevin Joyce with an illegal zombie knife leaving him with significant wounds.
'Abusive relationship'
Prosecutor Alistair Haggerty told the court that Fitts-Hawkins and his partner began dating Ms Marsh when he was just 15-years-old and she was a little older, without 'her parents wishes'.
"He was frequently violent towards her, pushed her into walls, spat in her face and regularly pulled her hair.
The court also heard that Fitts-Hawkins was involved in another incident on February 5, 2023 during which he stabbed Kevin Joyce leaving him with significant wounds.
Gloucestershire Constabulary arrived within minutes and arrested Fitts-Hawkins while Mr Joyce was taken to hospital by ambulance where he was treated for his injuries.
Judge Rupert Lowe told Fitts-Hawkins: "Ms Marsh finally reported your behaviour to the police and you evaded capture when the officers tried to arrest you.
"You told her she was a dead man walking. You also warned her that if you received a prison sentence your family would go after her.
"That is serious witness intimidation for which you will be receiving a prison sentence.
"I accept you had a difficult childhood. You have shown little remorse for your offending."
Judge Lowe sentenced Fitts-Hawkins to a prison term of 42 months and also subjected him to the terms of a five year restraining order not to contact his victim by any means.
