Gloucester: Two treated for injuries after stabbing incident

A man has been arrested after a stabbing incident that has left two men injured.

Gloucestershire Police were called to Millbrook Street, Gloucester, at 9:30 GMT after a report of a man stabbing two other men before running away.

Both men were sent to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and are being treated for their injuries.

A man from Gloucester has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, the force said.

He remains in police custody.

Officers believe the incident had taken place within a property and that those involved are known to each other.

One man sustained a suspected stab wound to the leg.

A second man suffered a suspected head wound and has now been discharged.

Investigating officers has urged anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened but has not yet spoken to police to make contact.

They are also keen to hear from anyone who has mobile phone, CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident.
