Toddington crash: Road closed as three people taken to hospital

Two men are in hospital with serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash.

The collision happened shortly before 07:00 GMT on the B4077 in Toddington, near the Orchard Industrial Estate.

A third man has also been taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be serious.

Police are appealing for information and road closures in the area are expected to remain in place for hours, with motorists asked to find alternative routes.

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a man in his 40s, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with serious injuries.

Another man in his 40s, who was driving the Seat Ibiza, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries.

The driver of the Ford Kuga, a man in his 50s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be serious.
