Pair plead guilty over Gloucestershire stabbing

Two men have admitted their roles in a stabbing which left a man in hospital with serious injuries.
Nicholas Hughes was stabbed on Hillcrest Road, Berry Hill, near Coleford, at around 16:20 on 9 August.
George Gadsby, 25, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Leigh Papps, 34, of Greenfield Road, Joy's Green, admitted assisting Gadsby in the commission of an offence.

Gadsby and Papps will be sentenced in March
Judge Ian Lawrie KC was told the Crown Prosecution Service had accepted the pleas put forward by the two defendants and withdrawn charges of attempted murder.
The men are due to be sentenced on 25 March.
