A man has been jailed after the discovery of a drugs factory with an estimated £2m-worth of cannabis.

Police said more than 2,300 cannabis plants were found at a previously disused office space in Eastgate Street, Gloucester, in August 2023.

Ylber Dajci, 42, of no fixed address, was sentenced for producing a controlled class B drug after changing his plea from not guilty to guilty.

He received a 25-month prison sentence at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday.
