Man suffers head injuries in pavement crash in Gloucester

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after a car mounted a pavement and hit him.
It happened at 08:25 GMT on Finlay Road, Gloucester. The road remains closed while police investigate.
"A Mini Countryman had driven onto the pavement colliding with a man, resulting in head injuries," said Gloucestershire Constabulary.
No arrests have been made at this time, the force added.
Motorists have been advised to find alternative routes while Finlay Road is closed.
Pembury Road was also closed whilst emergency services attended the scene but has reopened.
Gloucestershire Police has appealed for dashcam footage and for any witnesses to come forward.
