A361 in Lechlade closed after woman hit by car

Police have closed the A361 in Lechlade after an elderly woman was hit by a car

An elderly woman is being treated for serious injuries after being hit by a car.

Emergency services were called to the A361 Burford Street, which runs through Lechlade town centre, at 12:00 BST.

Road closures are in place between Burford to Lechlade, and Lechlade to Fairford, while emergency services remain at the scene.

Gloucestershire Police advised drivers to avoid the area and have appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
