Cotswolds Land Rover thefts prompt police warning
- Published
Owners of high value cars in the Cotswolds are being urged to be vigilant after a number of thefts.
Gloucestershire Police has made the warning after three Land Rover Defenders were stolen in Stow-on-the Wold, Cirencester and Poulton.
The theft in Poulton, a village near Cirencester, saw thieves break in to a house to steal a set of keys before taking the vehicle on 12 April.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Other recent incidents have included Land Rovers being stolen from the driveway of a house on Shalford Close in Cirencester and from Park Street in Stow-on-the-Wold.
Police said high value vehicles like Land Rovers, BMWs, Audis and Range Rovers are common targets for thieves as they sell for higher prices.
